There are people in each hobbyist interest that define "progression" in order to be one that is definitive of
progression .. That individual has to push others in there community in a motivated way to take there interest to the next level. In this case ClubLoose.com is the only family of friends on the east coast, that have pushing drifting to the next level, the home of some of the top breaded drivers in Formula D today like JR Van Gitten, Ryan H, Tony A and our very own Chris Forsberg ...

Every last wednesday, of the month during the east coast unforgiving summers ... Matt Petty, and fam host Clubloose.com events in English-town NJ at Race Way Park .. Matt and others have invested there own income and time to make this event possible for us all (even me) to learn how to drive harder and faster in a safe and fun area ...

I don't want to over talk this but I think some of the people should be called out here for there great efforts from what I've seen at these events .. sorry if i am not including anyone but we all are apart of Club Loose!

AMS PERFORMANCE / NOS ENERGY DRINK TA-X DEBUTS WITH A PODIUM FINISH!

This past weekend marked the first ever Redline Time Attack at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL. It was also to be the debut for the AMS Performance / NOS Energy Drink Time Attack Mitsubishi EVO X (TA-X). Just days prior TA-X was in pieces and in its final stage of assembly. The team was able to come together and get the car up and running for the weekend’s events.

Allot of people really hate Monday's,I'm for sure one of them .. These types of days can only be changed by a chain of events, beside the great weekend I had @ waterfest (the worlds biggest VW and AUDI show) along with the cruise session I had with good friends on the NJ parkway .. I got a text this morning from Jacob of MMI our management group for KB (Kyle Busch) "ITS RAINING NOS FOR THE 6TH TIME!!!" This is why my Monday's are NOSome ... It's not every day that 2 of your TEAM NOS are winning the points chase followed by there rest of your teammates in second place by just a few points ..

So...every time I go to Chicago....  I prepare myself for a crazy weekend, of course...   People in Chi town DEFINITELY know how to party. Here are some pics from the parties throughout the weekend...

 

CORISSA'S NC RECAP

So....Ummm first of all, I have to point out that it was FREAKING HOTTTTTTTT in NC!! It's a good thing I have lots of NOS coolers full of ICE and cold Nos to keep me happy. :o)

I had a GREAT time in NC...HIN turned out to be a great show...(especially after the sun went down, haha) and I also got to hang out with my BFF who lives down there now! SUCH a fun weekend...I had a good time at a few spots in Charlotte.

AMS sets a new horsepower record @ 2009 Mitsubishi Owners Day – Cypress CA.

This past weekend our friends at Mitsubishi Motors North America put on their annual Mitsubishi Owners Day (M.O.D.) event. In short it’s a day for all diamond star lovers to come together and spend a day rooted in anything and everything Mitsubishi. Normally we are not able to attend this event due to scheduling and distance but this year we decided to come pay our friends at Mitsu a visit. 

Mitsubishi officials greeted us on Friday as we rolled our NOS Energy Drink 3 car hauler into the lot. They had clearly been spending all day and then some on this event. After some heavy lifting and positioning we had the AMS/ NOS Energy Drink Drag car and Time Attack car along with the ACP/NOS Rally car all staged in front of our booth, directly across was none other than Ryan Gates extremely accomplished Blue AMS EVO X Modified Class Time Attack car making it quite a display! 

The morning of the show was intense. Even though the show was not scheduled to start until 9am the event staff had to let people in at 6:30 as they were starting to back up into the intersection.  By 10 am all 450 T-shirts we had brought were GONE! Our email sign up list....FILLED. We were taken back by how many EVO's were in attendance. Everyone was so nice and respectful; honestly you could not get a better crowd.

Road Race Engineering brought their Dynapack dynamometer out to the event for some exhibition runs. We were asked to put our Drag EVO on for a spin. After swapping out some old spark plugs the AMS/NOS Energy Drink Drag EVO was able to put down 1180AWHP at 47 psi establishing a new world horsepower record for the EVO! 

All in all, this event was WELL worth the near 70 hours of driving across the country. The guys at Mitsubishi, fellow vendors, customers and friends all made us feel right at home in sunny CA.  Also big thanks to our friend Luke Munnell from Import Tuner Magazine http://www.importtuner.com/index.html for the awesome pictures!

Next the AMS team heads to Colorado for the 2009 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb where David and Allison Kern will compete in the AMS/NOS Hill Climb EVO July 14-19. The AMS/ NOS Energy Time attack EVO is also scheduled to compete in the round 4 of Redline Time Attack in Nashville TN. July 25^th & 26th.
