So the rain canceled the Martinsville race where our first TV spot was supposed to air, but check out the spot above ... pretty NOSome if I say so myself. The commercial will air on the rebroadcast on Monday along with other select Sprint Cup races throughout the year.

For those who know NOS Energy Drink and the people behind it, you guys know that we’re passionate about motorsports. Like really passionate, borderline obsessive, about motorsports. And if we like all things with motors, then we’re punch drunk, head over heels about drifting. Below is the crazy and (slightly embellished but) mostly true story on how a commercial about drifting will be airing on network TV in front of millions of people during some NASCAR Sprint Cup races in 2010.
Last week I did an interview with Urban Racer for the 2010 Formula Drift fan guide. They filmed the interview so that we have a copy of it to watch, as well for them to go back and review for the text that will be in the guide. I had to stop myself once or twice and start over… I am gettin rusty in the off season!
Hopefully I get a copy and I will post it up on here…

Just in time for the Formula D season to start… I found these two ads yesterday when the magazines came in the mail. This Formula Drift ad was found on page 63 of Super Street Magazine.
And this Maxxis Championship ad can be found on page 9 of the new DSport Magazine.
Hey guys! Well you might have heard about it already on speedhunters.com and some other websites, but a couple weeks ago we shot our first ever tv commercial!
Chris Forsberg... our 2009 Formula D champ...is featured in the spot and does some really NOSome driving =) I can't give too much away because we want you to be totally surprised when you see it, but we think you guys are gonna love it! We shot it out at Horse Thief in Cali... a long, and surprisingly COLD and windy day in the Mojave desert!
The spot will air for the first time on March 28 during the NASCAR Sprint Cup race, so keep your eyes peeled!
It's one of the first commercials to fully feature drifting, so we're just happy to put out some content that we're really passionate about =)

It's about that time to recap this years ShiftR Auto Show in San Jose, Ca. The crew at AXION and NOS teamed up to make this show and unforgettable experience brought to you by my boy.. Emil at Imagine Media Group. There was a fashion show and B-boy breakdown contest which kept the energy in the building high ..not to mention all the free NOS that was floating around. I got a package recently
from a brand called Rebel 8. They make a wide range of artwork and clothing
that is all made in house. Every piece of artwork is hand drawn and not altered
with digital enhancing in any way. The founder’s clever means of hand drawn art
and guerrilla marketing built this clothing brand up to be internationally
recognized.
