ELIGIBILITY:
The NOS/Pilot Travel Centers Sweepstakes
(the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to the residents of the 48 contiguous United
States or the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of
entry. Employees of NOS d/b/a glacéau (“Sponsor”), Pilot Travel Centers, D.L. Blair Inc.
(“Administrator”), each of their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and
promotional agencies, and anyone who is an immediate family member and/or
resides in the same household as any person listed above are not eligible to
participate in the Sweepstakes. Void
where prohibited by law.

A) VIA TEXT MESSAGING: Beginning
12:00:01 AM (ET) on 5/1/10, using a text message-capable wireless device, text the word “Pilot”
to short-code 878787. Once your text message is
received, you will receive a reply text message asking you to indicate your date of birth – first by year, then by month. Only after you reply to those text messages with an eligible
date of birth will you automatically be credited with one entry in the
sweepstakes. Text message entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM
(ET) on 6/30/10. Limit one text message
entry per wireless telephone number or account per day. If more than one text message entry is
received from one wireless account per day, only the first entry submitted will
be considered valid. Sponsor cannot
guarantee this program will be available via all carriers. The text messaging portion of the promotion
will be available on participating wireless carriers only. Wireless device carrier’s instructions for
text messaging may vary. Text and data rates
may apply. Your wireless service provider may charge you for each
text message you send and receive.
B)
VIA MAIL: On a plain piece of 3” x 5” paper, hand print
your complete name, street address (no PO Boxes), city, state, zip code, date
of birth (mm/dd/yyyy), plus daytime and evening telephone numbers. Mail your entry in an envelope no larger than
a #10 (business-size) envelope, with first class postage affixed, to: NOS/Pilot Travel Center Sweepstakes, Department D, P.O. Box 5701, Blair, NE 68009-5701. Limit one entry per outer mailing
envelope. No mechanically produced
entries permitted. Entries must be
received by 7/6/10. Not
responsible for lost, late, postage due, illegible, mutilated, misdirected
entries or entries not received in time for the random drawing. All entries become the sole property of
Sponsor and will not be returned.
3. RANDOM DRAWING: A random drawing will be conducted on or
about 7/13/10 from among all eligible text and mailed entries received. The
drawing will be conducted by Administrator, an independent judging organization
whose decisions on all matters relating to this sweepstakes are final. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries
received.
4. WINNER VERIFICATION: Potential winners that entered with a Text Message Entry will be
notified by telephone using the mobile telephone number
associated with the drawn Text Message Entry. The administrator will make two
(2) attempts to contact the Text Message potential winner and if unable to
reach potential winner, will attempt to leave a message with instructions to
contact the administrator within 48 hours. If the Text Message potential winner
does not contact the administrator within the 48-hour time period, then he/she
may be disqualified (without further notice) and an alternate potential winner will
be selected. Potential winners that entered via Mail-in Entry will be contacted
by mail using the mailing address provided in the Mail-in Entry.
5. PRIZES & APPROXIMATE
RETAIL VALUES: (1) Grand Prize consisting of a 3-day/2-night
trip for winner and a guest to attend the Nationwide Series Race (9/4) and the
Sprint Cup Race (9/5) at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Atlanta, GA. Prize includes round-trip coach air
transportation from major airport nearest winner’s home to/from destination
city (departing 9/3, returning 9/5), two nights double occupancy hotel
accommodations, ground transportation to/from airport/hotel/track in Atlanta,
access to a hospitality area at the track on 9/4, two Grandstand tickets on
9/5, a NOS gift bag with sponsor-specified items plus $300 spending money for
winner. (ARV: $3,170). Winner and guest
are solely responsible for all other expenses not specifically set forth
herein, including but not limited to meals, additional transportation, upgraded
room accommodations, souvenirs and other incidentals and items of a personal
nature. The actual retail value of the
prize will depend on winner's point of departure/return; no compensation or
substitution will be provided for any difference in prize value.; (1)
First Prize – A NOS portable tailgate grill ($250); (5) Second Prizes – A NOS
die cast car ($43 each); (10) Third Prizes – A NOS camping chair ($24 each); (15)
Fourth Prizes – A NOS baseball cap
($10 each). Prizes consist of only those
items specifically listed as part of the prize. Limit
one prize per household.
6. GENERAL RULES: The Potential Grand Prize winner will be asked to sign
and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance
Form, and if legally permissible, a
Publicity Release, within seven (7) days of attempted notification. Noncompliance within this time period or
return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in
disqualification without further notice and an alternate winner will be
selected. Traveling companion (or parent/legal guardian if traveling companion is
a minor) must also complete and return a Release of Liability within 7 days of
winner’s attempted notification. If winner is a minor, winner’s parent/legal guardian
will be required to accompany winner on trip as the winner’s guest. If a minor is selected as a traveling
companion, winner must be his/her parent/legal guardian. All travelers must possess required travel
documents (e.g., valid photo ID) prior to departure. All travelers must agree to depart and return
on dates specified by the Sponsor; dates of departure and return are subject to
change. All federal, state and local
laws and regulations apply. All federal, state and local income taxes are the
sole responsibility of winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize
of equal or greater value if any prize listed above should become unavailable
for any reason. No substitution or
transfer of prize by winner will be permitted except at the discretion of
Sponsor. Sponsor not responsible for
incomplete, lost, late, damaged, illegible or misdirected mail/SMS text
messages or for any technical problems, faulty, incorrect or mistranscribed
data/mobile phone/SMS-enabled wireless device transmissions, incorrect
announcements of any kind, technical hardware or software failures of any kind
including any injury or damage to any person’s SMS-enabled wireless device or
resulting from participating in this promotion.
Not responsible for malfunctions or breakdown of any network systems,
unavailable service connections, lost, incomplete, fault network connectivity
of any kind, failures of any service providers, or any combination thereof,
which may limit a person’s ability to participate in this sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute regarding any text
message entry, the entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder
of the SMS-enabled wireless device phone number submitted at the time of entry
(i.e., the natural person who is assigned to an SMS-enabled wireless device
phone number by a wireless phone carrier
network or other organization responsible for assigning phone numbers
for the SMS-enabled wireless device).
Potential winners may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that
he/she is the authorized account holder of the wireless phone number associated
with the winning entry. Sponsor
reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or
tampering is suspected, or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement
of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these
official rules. Sponsor assumes no
responsibility for undeliverable text messages. Sponsor reserves the
right to modify the sweepstakes or disqualify entrant if fraud, misconduct or
technical failures destroy the security, fairness or integrity of the
sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Proof of submitting entries will not be
deemed to be proof of receipt of a Sweepstakes entry by Sponsor. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or
the like methods of participation will void all such submissions by such
methods. Sponsor reserves the right to
cancel or modify the promotion if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy
the integrity of the program; or if other technical problems corrupt the
administration or security of the program as determined by
Sponsor/administrator, in their sole discretion. In the event of termination, the drawing will
be conducted from among all eligible entries received prior to
termination. In no event will more
prizes be awarded than stated in these Official Rules. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission
for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners’ names and/or likenesses for
purposes of advertising and trade, without further compensation, unless
prohibited by law. By accepting prize,
winners agree to hold Sponsor and its respective directors, officers, employees
and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of
use or misuse of any prize. Winners assume
all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by
participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. By participating in this promotion, entrants
agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the judges’ decisions. Sponsor not responsible for any
typographical, technical, or other error in the printing of the offer,
administration of the promotion or in the announcement of prizes. In the event there is a discrepancy or
inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any
sweepstakes materials and the terms and conditions of the official rules, the official rules shall prevail, govern and control.
7. DISPUTES: Except where prohibited,
entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action
arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be
resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and
exclusively by the United States District Court for the Southern District of New
York or the appropriate New York State Court located in the borough of Queens,
New York; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to
actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering
this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no
circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant
hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and
consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket
expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise
increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity,

Team NOS at Olympus Rally
Great weekend at Olympus Rally. Unfortunately I went off and crashed while pushing for the win. but we were posting great times and the car was handling awesome, so we're in good shape for the upcoming events. Next one, Portland Oregon May 14-16, including stages at Portland International Raceway.
Had terrific NOS activation on event as well. The NOS team was out at Pacific Grand Prix kartways on Thursday for media and charity rides we did for Ronald McDonald House, then we handed out a ton of product to rally fans on event as well. Thanks to NOS for supporting the events and workers as well!

Formula D - Long Beach
Well the Formula D season has officially begun. It kicked off the weekend of April 9 in Long Beach, CA and NOS was there to hold it down!
Congrats to Formula D for the largest attendance ever!!! 15,000 people saw some awesome drifting action and got to enjoy the day. Whenever I'm out in Cali, surrounded by palm trees I always kinda wonder why I live on the dreary east coast.

New Jersey Drive
This past weekend we went to the Club Loose season opener and Time Attack at NJ Motorsports Park.
Super-charged Z. The sound it puts out is very unique.

On the way back to the NJ Turn Pike me and my brother were entertained by these two dare devils... I think they turned it up a notch when they realized there was a camera on them...
Saturday was central Jersey and Sunday was south Jersey. I mean, south, south Jersey. If you live in the surrounding area and never been to NJ Motor-sports Park in Millville, it's well worth the visit. This racing facility houses 2 race tracks: the Thunderbolt Raceway and the Lightning Raceway. Not to mention the F1 kart track too... Sunday we were here for the Time Attack and there was plenty of raw power in attendance.
