New wheels...

Formula Drift round 1 Long Beach is next Friday and Saturday April 8th & 9th and I personally couldn't be more excited! Many drivers are debuting new wheels for competition and it's going to be on heck of a season, I PROMISE!!!!!! Well it's my turn to debut a new set of wheels.... SE Bikes providing the new wheels, you'll see it in it's glory at Long Beach round 1... JDM EGO dice valve caps of course...

Karting w/ Kyle Busch, Chris Forsberg & NOS Energy Drink

This weekend was MOTORSPORTS PACKED wasn't it! Well NASCAR was in CALIFORNIA so it was a good time to do something with Kyle Busch and his foundation... Here's the event and they even put little ol' me on the flier, SEND IT! NOS Energy Drink put together a Celebrity karting event at K1 SPEED Ontario to benefit the Kyle Busch Foundation...

XDC Irwindale prior to Qatar

Before I headed to Qatar but after Abu Dhabi I hit So Cal, Irwindale to be exact to MC XDC Xtreme Drift Circuit at The House of Drift... US Airways treating me right in 1st class... California snow... Here's La Flama Blanca aka Chris Forsberg's latest creation a 4 seater, Recaro buckets might I add, Infiniti M35 M56 because of the Nissan V8 under the hood, this car rips!!!! Qatar Hero... Formula DRIFT in Qatar 2011

Formula DRIFT is expanding everyday it seems like and the latest installment is Qatar in the Middle East...Get ready because here comes your Qatar Heroes.... We were just in Abu Dhabi a few weeks ago and back at it for another long flight but lasting memories, here ya go SEND IT! Prior to leaving for Qatar I was in LA for XDC which I'll have a blog up on after this... Emirates airlines at LAX... Whole row to myself for 16 hours! Flying over the North Pole... Crazy Dan can't get enough air in his diet... Emirates makes it real romantic... Have no idea where this is but deep... Saw this in Top Gear magazine... ironic people always ask me where is Qatar...

Some serious fun in the UAE: Drifting, Ferrari World + middle of nowhere!

So this past week I've been MIA due to the fact I was in the UAE aka Abu Dhabi & Dubai for the 1st ever FORMULA DRIFT event in the UAE at the illustrious Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi... The signature Yas Marina Circuit teal is everywhere and used properly, its so sick! The start finish behind me, the UAE flag flying, just so ill... Good times with some good friends including Forsberg w/ the hand hover... Yas Marina Racing School with Aston Martins & open wheels cars... sick right?!?!?! Forsberg getting ready to go out... Largest Masque in the world, crazy huge! Holds 40,000 people... 49ers themed Phantom I guess... Great crew on this trip, phenom time! Ferrari World!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fastest rollercoaster in the world...Jose was 1st on it and front row! The ride is INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Homies... This says it all! The men behind it all, Jim & Ryan! Packed house, well received and great driving on a pinnacle track! After party was nuts & awesome! This pic of Mike says it all, loud and proud! The newspaper the next day! Dubai bound for some post event fun in the desert riding quads... Our friends penthouse view... Tangelo vs. The BABY Camel... Seriously middle of nowhere in the desert of Dubai... Good times on a Rhino! Sand people.... Heres a short video of us ripping around in the middle of nowhere.... Here's the worlds tallest building miles away, looks HUGE huh?!?!?! Doesnt look massive next to a bunch of buildings but this really makes it look HUGE!!!!!!! Hobo Herron in the Persian Gulf rocking them Natives... 16 hours later next to these 3 dudes were back home on US Soil at LAX.. JDM EGO if ya don't know is masterminded by an old friend of mine Jay Bryan... Blog meets a brand meets a man... He's seriously crazy psycho collectory guy, he already knows about it before it was released, he tells Steve Jobs secrets, His middle name is "Limited"...I keed I keed, not really... Jay has a very storied rad past of cars, culture, design and inspiration in his life... His pet project is JDM EGO, what is JDM EGO? Somewhere it exists between cars, culture 80's or maybe it's just as a random as Jay is himself and the rising, dissapearing of his epic blog or who knows but its fun... Clutch performance w/ Exedy & Willie T + Nate "Tex" Hamilton hooks it up

EXEDY Racing Clutches has asked myself to host some more install videos in addition to the videos already created, captured by the homie Willie T. These were shot at Vivid Racing in Arizona and then technical consultant Evan Cline was on hand to make sure it's all up to snuff. We handle the business but of course have a good time doing it! Why not!?!?! Here's Evan modeling some NOS Energy Drink Day 1 was an RSX stage 2 install and more NOS of course... Willie & I... Cheesy!

DSport gets down with the 2012 GTR

DSport Magazine sent me a solid review of the 2012 Nissan GTR... When I say solid, I mean the dang car is solid and packed with new advancements over the 2011 evenm not just cosmetic! Plus the video is informative for sure... Didn't know the rags and mags to riches could do it like that, jk Tobin, Mike & Gang... This past Friday was a great day into evening as an event that was curated by my homie Slim aka Dearly Departed thrown at High Point Shoes... The event to raise money for our tattooing 19 year old homie Andrick Aviles + his mom & dad to gain residency here in the U.S. of A.
