NOR CAL NOS INTRODUCES JARED THOMPSON

 

 

Hey drift fans, here is some background on the newest edition to the Nor Cal Nos Team! 

Jared Thompson, a product of the bay area, was a pro driver in the 2007 World Drift Series in China and the winner of the first annual Nor Cal Track Drift Competition at Thunderhill Raceway.  Thompson finished 3rd overall in the 2009 Thunderdrift Championship Series and will be competing in the 2010 Formula Drift ProAM.

in 2008, i had the idea that we should be looking for a team to sponsor that needed that chance, a chance to show the world what they're made of and support them to achieve that idea .. so i was in chicago on thanksgiving and martin i happen to have allot of friends in common, so we finally linked up the day after the holiday and talked about time attack and what he wanted to do with an evo x and the other forms of motorsports but this moment takes it in 2009 AMS was ruling the 2009 4 wheels driver redline time attack category but even though all the developmental R&D isseue AMS went though AMS still manage to come out on top even while on FIRE!!!

happy new year everyone .. well who says that we CANT have our top 10 of 2009 in 2010 .. lol ... well to be honest i have been on vacation so i was living it up and haven't blogged for some time now .. 

since long beach, chris and i have been talking about brining home a championship .. at first it was a really hard thing to think about because of all the money put into the cars and teams till chris took #1 qualifier at long beach people noticed that keeping it simple stupid was the new pace .. then taking home more wins thought out the year really made the our pursuit to a championship even more realistic.. doubt NO .. superstitions YES ... there was even a point when i tough that i was "bad luck" i have never seen chris podium and didn't make it to event even thought that was my job too .. but that was broken at irwindale when he took home the 2009 FD championship ..   but the turning point of all this was when we went to seattle and the numbers started shaping up for a championship season .. and chris was in high gear to bring one home for the team ... and our friend andy @ drift alliance media was there to capture the moment .. this is our #8 NOSome moment in 2009 ... The AMS Performance NOS Energy Drink Time Attack EVO X has just set a new World EVO X HP record with 751 ponies at the wheels. Look for the car at the upcoming SEMA show in Las Vegas November 6^th-9 and also at the Redline Time Attack finals Nov. 14^th-15th and the Super Lap Battle finals Nov. 11^th  held at the Buttonwillow Raceway Park.

TEAM NOS: Tires.com Triple Crown 2009 Second Event Summary

With two rounds in the books for the Triple Crown this video has been released by Tires.com to feature the battle for the Triple Crown championship at Formula D Irwindale. Chris Forsberg currently has a dominant stance on the championship since he has won both the first and second event of the series. Darren McNamara is sitting in second with Ryan Tuerck in third. You can hear from all of them in this video on the battle for the Triple Crown.
