TEAM NOS - CHAMPIONSHIP WATCH

Here at NOS, we're all about winning.  Nothing works us up like watching one of our drivers winning a race.  Nothing except for well ... winning championships!

Since the brand was born back in 2004, believe it or not, we haven't had a driver win a series championship yet in the NOS suit.  This year, we're hoping we can end that and win a few.

As part of our media partnership with NOS Energy Drink, I was able to spend some time with the NOS rally team at the X Games last weekend. As I mentioned earlier, this was my first rally event so it was eye-opening to get a first hand look at what goes on behind the scenes during one of these events.

Street Lab, Explore 3 / X Games Edition / Final DAY

Today is the day!!! Rally X at X Games! ACP taking on the best and biggest team in Rally. When I come to event I tend to take off my NOS cap and rock what ever team I am with for the weekend .. Its the same feeling you get when your team is ready to take on the rival teams in any sport .. I just have have ACP, CFR, AMS and KB. I am the biggest fan of teamNOS, you should see me in the stands or the pits .. I'm a mess hahah but at X Games 15 ACP made us all proud!

Street Lab, Explore 3 / X Games Edition / DAY 3

One more Day till X day! I have to admit this one hell of experience at X Games, but I can't wait to see it all on TV seeing it here in person really doesn't let you take it all in, not that I am complaining.. hahah Any day 3 coverage of teamNOS / ACP behind the wheel .. 
Day 3, you know being a marketing guy isn't all that easy .. Here is my mobile off that I have lug around .. haha

Street Lab, Explore 3 / X Games Edition / DAY 2

Day 2, Qualification runs.. I have to admit my nerves went into over driver when our TEAM NOS driver ACP was running today .. ACP did great and came in 5th place over all .. Witch got us in the big show Sunday .. The thing is that X Games had us qualify on the tarmac when we will be running for gold on dirt kinda od but thats racing ..

Action sports has been in the world for over 30 years .. Can you believe that X games has only been around for only 15 years! There are kids in the X games that think X Games has always been around .. Sal Masicana, is doing it big once the host of just the X Games to a house hold name, all the X sport have turned into video games and the lifestyle of a skater, bmx, fmm and est has taken over the world.. now starts the saga of Rally ! NOS / ACP is here to our make history ..

ACP at X-Games 15. Aug 2nd, ABC 3pm.

We all know the infamous flip.  As bad ass as that was, people forget that my man ACP was leading Dave Mirra ... the eventual bronze medalist. 

So here we are again, one year from The Flip, and its the same scenery (Los Angeles) and the same players (ACP, Dave Mirra, Travis Pastrana, Ken Block, etc.).  The question is, will it be a different result?

You tell us.  Either way, make sure you watch it on ABC this Sunday, 3pm.

UPDATE:ACP just qualified 3rd for the first round and will be paired with fellow Mitsubishi driver Art Gruszka. ACP's qualifying time of 58 sec is more than 7 seconds faster than the Gruszka's and little more than a second off the fastest qualifier of the day.

Andrew (ACP) did it he never fails to amaze me! He took home a 3rd place finish at the Lucas Oil Off Road Race this weekend! Why is this amazing ? Because this it the first time he has ever done this !
