So I got the idea to build my own simulator… But not just any seat with a wheel. I got a Logitech G25 setup, which is a 900 degree, force feedback, clutch pedaled H pattern shifter! The design of the frame is entirely laid out after the 350Z. Shifter location, pedal spacing, everything…
Here is the beginning of the frame!
Test fitting the seat, wheel, and shifter location to the frame. See the steering wheel??? That’s right! We swapped the Logitech wheel with a Momo suede wheel!
Everything felt good so I took the pieces off and started lining up the last few braces.
Ready to get all welded up!
Hanging the pedals, that’s right… I took the pedal assembly apart and I am hanging the pedals upside down so they are more realistic.
Will post the final pics when its all finished.

We teamed up with the AMS guys to have the best and largest booth at M.O.D. 2009 in Normal IL this past weekend. AMS brought out the record-holding drag car and their RalliArt they have been tuning to put next to our tent. The NOS Energy tent was by far the busiest at the event. There was always a line an everyone got their Human Horsepower all the way until Mother Nature decided to end the party early. Check the photos after the jump:

NOS Energy Drinks attended one of the biggest consumer gaming events in the Northwest. PAX 2009 (Penny Arcades Expo)! A three day gaming party for tabletop, videogame, and PC Gamers.
NOS Powershots was at the Alienware booth. That is correct! During PAX 2009, NOS and Alienware were together in one booth with the NOS girls giving the gamers NOS powershots. Keeping the gaming energy alive for the entire day.
With the season slowing down a bit, I only had 2 races this weekend. This picture is from the USAC National Sprint Car race in Terre Haute, IN Saturday. The win was handed to us and then taken away. Keep reading and I'll fill you in.
OK.... it's almost impossible to NOT talk about the VMA's, which is always the craziest awards show of the year. Someone is either climbing on the set, showing up totally drunk and being rowdy, or hopping on stage while Taylor Swift is accepting an award and shouting about how Beyonce's video was better (not to name names....)
With this live show, you never know what's gonna happen. One thing is certain though- this year might have been some of the best performances in VMA history. Well, recent history at least. I was definitely blown away by the theatrics, the dancing, and Lady Gaga bleeding all over the stage lol
So which performance do you guys think was the best? I narrowed it down to my top three (it was really tough....Beyonce did some SICK DANCING).... Vote for one of the ones below, or write about a different performance in the comments!
If you missed the show... you can check out the performances and photos on MTV's site.

Hood to Coast owns all other relays. "The Mother of All Relays"
The Official Energy Drink of Hood to Coast is NOS Energy Drinks. This was the 28th annual year of the relay and NOS was out and about during the crack of dawn (4am!) to energize 12,000 runners that are ready to conquer the 197 mile long relay. 3,500 volunteers are scattered from Mt. Hood, OR to Seaside, OR...
NOS was setup on top of Mt. Hood at the starting line. Our flags were staked and NOS are being handed out.
